Top Film & Television Apps on Android in Argentina: Q3 2025

In the third quarter of 2025, the film and television app market on the Android platform in Argentina saw varied performance across the top five applications. This analysis provides a closer look at the trends in downloads, revenue, and active users, sourced from Sensor Tower.

Cinemark Hoyts Argentina witnessed a fluctuating pattern in weekly downloads, beginning with around 5.9K in early July, peaking at nearly 10K in early September, and then declining to approximately 3.9K by the end of the quarter. The app maintained a strong weekly active user base, starting at about 143K, reaching a high of 155K mid-quarter, and closing at around 140K.

TodayTix – Theatre Tickets experienced steady weekly downloads, hovering around 500, with a slight dip to 393 in mid-September. Active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating slightly between 2K and 2.3K throughout the quarter.

Cines Dino showed a notable decrease in weekly downloads after an initial spike to 1.5K in early July, dropping to double digits by the end of September.

Showcase ARG also saw a similar trend, starting with over 1.1K downloads and then experiencing a significant decline, with numbers falling below 100 in mid-September.

Imax Del Conocimiento had modest download numbers, starting at 35 in early July, peaking at 470 in early September, before dropping again.
